Off-Season Beach Parking

Question: When does the off-season begin and end? We are headed to West Dennis Sept 6-8th and were wondering if beach parking would be free.

Dee's Reply: Hi Greg - The dates when beach parking fee/sticker requirements begin and end vary from town to town.

In most towns, parking fees and stickers are only required from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

That's the case with the town of Dennis. Last weekend (Labor Day weekend) was the end of the fee/sticker requirement in Dennis for this year.

If you're planning to visit the National Seashore while you're here, just be aware that parking fees/passes are still required on weekends and holidays through Columbus Day at National Seashore beaches.
