Depending on which ferry service you use, you'll arrive at one of these ports on Martha's Vineyard:
75 Falmouth Heights Road
Falmouth, MA
Route: Falmouth Harbor to Oak Bluffs
Season: Island Queen sails seasonally only, from late May to mid-October.
*Opening day for 2023 is May 26th.
Auto Transport: No
Schedule: During peak season, Island Queen has multiple daily departures for Oak Bluffs with additional sailings on weekends.
Crossing Time: Approximately 35 minutes
Round Trip Fares (2023): $27 adult; $16 kids age 5-12; kids 4 and under Free. Discounted fare for active military with proper ID. Additional charge to bring bicycle, surfboard, etc. aboard.
Parking: Island Queen has lots within easy walking distance to the dock. Parking is on a first-come/first-served basis. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your ferry departs!

Woods Hole Ferry Terminal

Routes: Woods Hole to Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs
Season: Sails to Vineyard Haven year round and to Oak Bluffs seasonally from mid-April to mid-October
Auto Transport: Yes. (This is the only vehicle transport ferry from Cape Cod to Martha's Vineyard.) Advance reservation required for auto transport!
Crossing Time: About 45 minutes
Schedule: Multiple daily sailings
Round Trip Fares (2023): $20 adult; $10.50 kids age 5-12; kids age 4 and under Free. Auto transport rates vary depending on vehicle size. Additional charge to bring bicycle, surfboard, etc. aboard.
Parking: There's no on-site parking at the terminal in Woods Hole, but there is plenty of off-site parking with free shuttle service to bring you to/from your ferry. See Steamship Authority's website for details.

Ocean Street Docks

Route: Hyannis to Oak Bluffs
Season: High-speed ferry, seasonal only from early May to October
Auto Transport: No
Crossing Time: About 1 hour.
Schedule: Multiple daily sailings.
Round Trip Fares (2023): $70 adults; $43 kids age 5-12; kids age 4 and under Free.
Parking: HyLine has its own lots near the pier, as well as off-site parking just a mile away with free shuttle service to the pier.
You'll also find a good number of privately owned lots within walking distance to the pier. Or you can park at the Hyannis Transportation Center on Transportation Avenue, then walk or take the trolley (seasonal) to the pier.
