Flights between Hyannis and the islands are occasionally delayed or
canceled on account of weather. So it's always good to have a
travel "Plan B" in mind.

Take a ferry. Unless Mother Nature is blowing up a gale, the Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard ferries will likely be making the trip across the Sound.
