Orleans Farmers Market

During the winter months, the popular Orleans Farmers Market is held indoors. 

Stop by and stock up on fresh, locally grown and harvested seafood, meats, and produce, as well as yummy treats, healthy foods and healing balms from area food artisans and wildcrafters.

When: Throughout the month of February, 2025

Boat Builders Show on Cape Cod

When: January 31 - February 2, 2025; Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Hyport Conference Center, 35 Scudder Avenue, Hyannis, MA 

Admission: $10 per person, 12 and under FREE

For avid boaters, this is one of the first Cape Cod events of the year to remind us that boating season will be here before we know it. 

Are you in the market for a new boat? Or maybe you'd just like to ogle some of the most beautiful watercraft you've ever seen?

You won't want to miss this year's Boat Builders' Show in Hyannis where talented, independent boat builders showcase their custom and limited-production fiberglass and wooden sail and powerboats.

No wonder this show is considered "The Best Independent Boat Builders Show in the Northeast"!

Winter Film Series

When: February 2, 9, 16 & 23, 2025, film begins at 1:30 p.m.

Looking for something to do on a chilly Sunday afternoon? Head  to the Salt Pond Visitors Center in Eastham for the Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore's popular Winter Film Series.

Chapters of Chocolate Festival & Dog Parade

This festival is for all you bakers out there, and for all us willing (eager!) tasters, too. The day's activities include a Chocolate Dessert Contest, chocolate samples, a dog parade around the village (weather permitting) with prizes and treats, and more!

Put on your warmies and head to Yarmouth for the annual Yarmouth Winter Carnival!

In addition to an outdoor synthetic ice skating rink, there'll be food trucks, s'mores fun, magic shows, a petting zoo, face painting, carnival games and a whole lot more family-friendly fun!

Tea Leaf Reading Class

Amazing Animal Ambassadors

When: February 20, 2025, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Where: Green Briar Nature Center, 6 Discovery Hill Road, East Sandwich, MA

Join Bethany Jakubson in this small setting where you will be able to see amazing animals up close!

Bethany will showcase some of her favorite animals from the natural world including birds, mammals, and reptiles. Also on display will be a fascinating assortment of taxidermy, furs, and skulls of mammals.

Seeing wild animals up close can become a child's treasured memory, open a whole new world of wonder, and spark a lifelong love of animals.

Space is very limited for this event and tickets sell out quickly, so get yours soon!

Cape Cod Museum of Natural History Programs

When: February 15 - 21, 2025, during museum open hours

Where: Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, Rt. 6A, Brewster

Outermost Contra Dance

When: February 21, 2025, 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:15 p.m.)

Where: Wellfleet Preservation Hall, 335 Main Street, Wellfleet, MA

Admission: $15 adults; $10 age 30 and under; $5 students (with ID)

Contra dancing is the true traditional New England dance, brought here by the Irish, English and Scottish settlers.

No fancy footwork needed – if you can walk, you can dance!  All the dances are taught and called. If you’re new to contra dance, be sure to get in on the early dances for the basic moves.

The contra dance is family friendly and welcomes dancers of all levels. So bring your sweetie, your kids, or come alone. Lots of fun, friendly people will be there to welcome you!

Cape POPS! 3: "And the Winner Is ... Music From the Silver Screen"

When: February 22 & 23, 2025, Sat. at 7:30 p.m. and Sun. at 3:00 p.m.

Join Cape Symphony’s own “co-hosts” Joe Marchio and Jae Cosmos Lee as they lead the Orchestra performing music from Academy Award-winning films and their unforgettable soundtracks.

You’ll hear music from the Golden Age of Hollywood, along with favorites from Titanic, E.T., and Frozen. Broadway sensation and Wicked star Dee Roscioli is also welcomed back to the Cape Symphony stage in this star-studded performance.
