Beach Parking with a National Park Service Pass
by Pam
(Springfield, MA, USA)
Question: I want to know if I can use my National Park Service Pass for parking at all Cape Cod Beaches.
If not, please let me know where the cheapest parking is near West Yarmouth.
Dee's Reply: Hi Pam! Your National Parks Pass is valid for parking only at Cape Cod National Seashore beaches.
That includes:
- In Eastham - Coast Guard Beach and Nauset Light Beach
- In Wellfleet - Marconi Beach
- In Truro - Head of the Meadow
- In Provincetown - Race Point and Herring Cove Beach
At most other beaches, in-season parking requires either a daily fee or a town-issued sticker/pass.
I say "most", because there are a few beaches on the Cape where you can park for free any time.
You can read about them and see photos
here.
Have a great time!
Best Regards,
Dee
