Best Way from Bourne Bridge to Rt. 3 Heading to Boston

Question: What is the best way to go over the Bourne Bridge but then get back to Route 3 and head to Boston?

Dee's Reply: Hi Susan - It's easy. Once you're over the Bourne Bridge, take the first exit and follow the signs for Route 6 toward Sagamore Beach.

Once you're on Rt. 6, you'll go probably 3-4 miles or so, and you'll see signs for Route 3 and Route 3A to Boston.

Essentially what you'll be doing is coming over the Bourne Bridge, paralleling the Canal on the mainland side, and heading back toward the Sagamore Bridge.
